Listen to me closely.  Put that snack down.  πŸ›‘ I’ve been a "dog dad" for 15 years, and I volunteer at the local shelter every weekend. I’ve seen way too many heartbreaks that could have been avoided. Let me tell you about  Buddy , my Golden Retriever. Years ago, I left a dark chocolate Easter bunny on the coffee table. Rookie mistake. I came back, and the foil was shredded. Buddy looked guilty, but I thought,  "He's a big dog, he'll be fine."
